Ooo-wee was she fun to paint! Her eyes mesmerized me so much so- that… I didn’t get a chance to finish her background before the two-hour timer went ding. 🤦‍♀️ I have plans for her. Whenever I get a moment, I am going to finalize my vision by adding a brilliant glow and constellations in the sequence of #TheFourElements and then she will be perfect.

At first I was crushed that I couldn’t finish her and felt down on myself but that pity party lasted for a mere moment. She looks so fantastic for the short amount of time my self-imposed challenge allotted. Besides, as you may recall, my rules say nothing about having to have completed the painting; only that I must show up. 👀 And she sure showed up for me. And she SCREAMED to be painted orange. I was like, “Audrey, I sketched you with orange hair.” She was like, “Do it!” If you make it to the end, you can see her transformation.

I could offer free shipping as a psychological/marketing tactic and then just increase the prices of my paintings. But that's just not my style. I yearn to be transparent with you all. All packaging and handling costs are on me. Your shipping costs include: Track and Trace, Insurance, Signed Delivery. The Audrey Series was intentionally created on A4 size paper to make them highly accessible, convenient and affordable. Creating her on a textured 300GSM paper allows me to offer her at a lower price point and a more affordable shipping rate. I just wanted to share her so much with you that I really tried to conceptualize every obstacle that prevents her from reaching you; her forever soulmate. I got you.

Your Audrey will not come with a frame. This is where you can add to the creative process! Pick your own mat board or border; your own frame and finish telling her story. When you hang her in your space, I am certain you will feel pride as you stare at the final touches you contributed.
