Coming from a small town in Florida, I wanted so badly to fit in during my tween years and as I approached eighteen… I had an epiphany. I wasn’t supposed to fit in. Sure I was incredibly lonely for years —I even took to reading a book a day to escape as well as embrace the solitude. But I was always supposed to break free from the mundane and find a place I could be unapologetically myself. I wanted to find a spot where my corky, odd self could feel like I belonged.

I traveled the world looking for a place I would fit in and then came another epiphany in my mid-thirties… I wasn’t looking for a destination, I was looking for an inward acceptance. Once I learned to truly accept all of myself, I was finally free to be me… wherever I was.

Moral of the story?

A: We’re not supposed to be the same as everyone else; there’s only one you… you’re supposed to be YOU. Life would be boring without the geeks and the freaks. 🧩

B: It doesn’t matter where you go, because wherever you go… there you are. I know, groundbreaking. 🥸 But simple proverbs have survived because it *is* that simple. Be happy with yourself and you will lead a happy life.

Audrey the Freak is a shout out to anyone that felt lonely and different growing up and then realized… wait, I’m f****** awesome. 😎

I could offer free shipping as a psychological/marketing tactic and then just increase the prices of my paintings. But that's just not my style. I yearn to be transparent with you all. All packaging and handling costs are on me. Your shipping costs include: Track and Trace, Insurance, Signed Delivery. The Audrey Series was intentionally created on A4 size paper to make them highly accessible, convenient and affordable. Creating her on a textured 300GSM paper allows me to offer her at a lower price point and a more affordable shipping rate. I just wanted to share her so much with you that I really tried to conceptualize every obstacle that prevents her from reaching you; her forever soulmate. I got you.

Your Audrey will not come with a frame. This is where you can add to the creative process! Pick your own mat board or border; your own frame and finish telling her story. When you hang her in your space, I am certain you will feel pride as you stare at the final touches you contributed.
