I can’t. I just can’t define my thoughts in a caption; just seems like I need plenty of space and freedom to say what I want to say. This can be achieved on my website; where I cannot be censored or limited in characters. I’ll let you know when I drop her blog. 💌

In the meantime, I can confess that this Audrey the [Nameless] did not turn out at all how I initially envisioned her. But with the time constraints (two hours is not enough) I just couldn’t get down my vision. And thank god I couldn’t! I never imagined her to turn out so bruised, raw and vulnerable. I thought she was going to be a glam Audrey but as I painted, she revealed her demands and I obeyed. Thank god for the time constraints. It allows me to trust my gut and not overthink. I love her.

I could offer free shipping as a psychological/marketing tactic and then just increase the prices of my paintings. But that's just not my style. I yearn to be transparent with you all. The Audrey Series was intentionally created on A4 size paper to make them highly accessible, convenient and affordable. Creating her on a textured 300GSM paper allows me to offer her at a lower price point and a more affordable shipping rate. I just wanted to share her so much with you that I really tried to conceptualize every obstacle that prevents her from reaching you; her forever soulmate. I got you.

Your Audrey will not come with a frame. This is where you can add to the creative process! Pick your own mat board or border; your own frame and finish telling her story. When you hang her in your space, I am certain you will feel pride as you stare at the final touches you contributed.
