This abstract painting is a mystery, even to me- it’s creator. I usually refer to my paintings like people refer to cars; using she and her pronouns. But this beauty holds its secrets tightly and still has me guessing as to its origin and intent. Aptly, I titled it , A Fugue State of Mind.

I felt like I completely disassociated from my body into a temporary state of enlightment (if your positive) or a state of naive ignorance (if your more pessimistic). And when I returned from this out of body experience, an unexpected and mistifying abstract painting laid before me.

The only hint of a breadcrumb I have is shortly before painting this, I was exploring and dissecting how humans in society can be compared to batteries charging a machine. This doesn't help me in deciphering this mystery but maybe it will help you as you move through the painting. Better yet, what do you see?
