Hello Casita is my playful way of paying homage to my Latin roots. I wanted to use neutral, nude colors that would allow my vibrant reds, yellows and greens to sing. I wanted to think of Mamabuela and family. I just wanted to get lost in layers of simple memories from simpler times.

She brings me warmth and trivial joy. What does she bring you? 
 
Encanto, "What Else Can I Do?"
 
"I just made something unexpected;
Something sharp, something new.
It's not symmetrical or perfect,
But it's beautiful and it's mine.
What else can I do?
 
I grow rows and rows of roses;
Flor de mayo, by the mile.
I make perfect, practiced poses;
So much hides behind my smile.
What could I do if I just grew what I was feelin' in the moment?
What could I do if I just knew it didn't need to be perfect?
It just needed to be? And they'd let me be?"
