I always begin with a nice internet stalking session of my client. I can plan better strategies when I know their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
We have a sit down and I go through a detailed questionnaire; designed to reach the core of their wants, needs, capabilities, and obstacles.
Step 2
Analyze & Plan
I cozy up to all available data and hit it hard; looking for stories in patterns, fascinating spikes, seasonal dips, behavioral activity, hidden opportunities, and how I can leverage the good and minimize the bad.
After researching the target audience and direct competition, I get an understanding of the market's climate.
I create a comprehensive marketing plan that outlines the scope of our objectives, target market, unique selling points, actionable campaigns, and an editorial calendar to keep us on track.
Step 3
Test & Optimize
I closely monitor all SEO, SEM, and SEA data along with the website and social analytics.
If the data is telling me something is working, I pump up the volume. If the campaign isn't performing, I tweak it to include elements that are supported by the numbers.
As the campaign runs its course, I extract short and long form content whenever possible. I have an evergreen mind that's always thinking of ways to recycle and refresh content.
The team sits down and discusses the campaign(s) and brainstorms on how we can improve.
