Trust Your Intuition: Audrey the Compass
I went on an introspective voyage, taking Moana and Kierkegaard along for the ride, and concluded one simple thought: trust your intuition.

Moana and Kierkegaard teach us to trust our intuition.
Me thinks we’re getting closer to the essence of this self-imposed #ArtChallenge; we’re digging deep people. I cannot reflect on the past 40 years of my life without addressing and magnifying the natural powers we have lurking deep inside of us.
Trust Your Intuition
It took me so long -so long- to feel the warm embrace of self-assurance and even though I know the call comes from inside me… I still waiver; I still strain to listen to an outside source to guide me.
But I trust that little voice in the pit of my stomach that shouts, “Come what may, I know the way. I am Natalie!”
Are you Brave?
Please make this promise with me. We will always trust our internal compass and know that life is like the tide and that our journey may leave scars… but scars heal and reveal who we are. We just have to be brave enough to examine and learn from these scars. ❤️
What do *you* think today’s Audrey is trying to express? I’m getting a guiding compass-Audrey.
I wonder what she’ll look like tomorrow!! 🥂 🥳🎨🎥🍿
PS Am I alone or does your heart skip a beat when Moana thrusts herself forward –like a lioness– before jumping into the sea to retrieve the #HeartOfTeFiti ….? 🤚

Deep Dive
Philosophy: Trust Your Intuition
Today I wanted to explore the themes that inspired my painting. A number of fascinating wormholes tried to suck me in along my journey but ChatGPT thankfully kept me on track.
I needed to put some puzzle pieces together to argue that if we were able to deeply and honestly analyze our past experiences, we can gain unbelievable wisdom and insight into our true nature's wants and needs. And knowing our true selves so intimately will allow us to always act with self-assurance and confidence in our intuition.
In the wise words of Søren Kierkegaard, "Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards."
ChatGPT and I began writing a rough draft of a future article that discusses:
The Value of Reflection: Discovering the importance of introspection and self-reflection in unlocking the hidden wisdom within our experiences.
Embracing Subjective Truth: Learning how to embrace your unique perspective, emotions, and intuitions as valuable sources of insight and personal growth.
Balancing Responsibilities: Exploring strategies to find harmony amidst the demands of daily life, nurturing both personal and professional growth.
Nurturing Well-being: Understand the significance of self-care, both mentally and physically, in harnessing the lessons that our experiences offer.
Empathy and Connection: Showcasing how cultivating genuine connections with oneself -as well as with others- fosters empathy, understanding, and mutual growth.
Must Move on.
As always (sigh), these topics are a lot deeper than I had initially anticipated and I have thoughts... lots of thoughts.
I have a deadline to get my Audrey the Compass out and published, but I didn’t want my research to get lost in my sea of unpublished thoughts so, even though it's on the longer side, I’m pasting it below to get your brain thinkin’.
So if you’re so inclined to jumpstart the journey, click here or scroll to the bottom of the page to read my sentimental conversations with ChatGPT. And, no joke, my research includes a screenplay of my philosophical conversations with ChattyChatGPT.

Sentimental Artist Chats with GPT
Being a perpetual student, I had to dive deeper and collate my spiderweb of thoughts into names, philosophies, and actionable takeaways.
Cracking my knuckles, I began typing my thoughts into a very rough essay; piecing together streams of consciousness to start a philosophical chat with a very mind-blowing AI program.
I've been using ChatGPT as my own personal intern, all the while trying to input sentimental notions into the AI program. I'm finding that when you give her very specific perimeters and stop her from going off on flatlining tangents... she can be quite helpful.
“Can I Really compare Moana to 19th Century Danish Philosopher, Søren Kierkegaard?”
**Sidenote: This research is cut and pasted to take you on the full journey. I continue to explore ChatGPT but do not see it replacing my content anytime soon. With all of it's mind-blowing features... it's still not a human.
I started down the rabbit hole with ChatGPT and it took a lot of traveling before ChattyChat started speaking my sentimental language. I will start with a summary of that journey, and then lead you in real-time from there.

Pull 5 quotes from Kierkegaard's writings and 5 quotes from Moana's script that draw a connection to the analysis in our above conversations.
To be transparent, I didn't like ChattyChat's initial suggestions so I prodded her and even went and pulled a couple on my own and brought back to her.
ChatGPT AI Answer.

Write a screenplay based on our conversation. My character is "Your Travel Artist" and your character name is "A Sentimental ChatGPT."

INT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY
Your Travel Artist (YTA), a creative and introspective individual, sits at a table in a cozy coffee shop. A Sentimental ChatGPT (ASC), an AI language model, appears on YTA's laptop screen.
YTA
(leaning in)
So, ChatGPT, today I wanted to explore the philosophy of introspection and self-assurance. It's fascinating how looking within ourselves can unlock the purpose of existence.
ASC
(smiling)
Absolutely, YTA. Introspection allows us to delve into our subconscious, gaining self-confidence and trusting our instincts. Speaking of introspection, have you heard of the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard?
YTA
(nods)
Yes, I'm familiar with his work. His emphasis on authenticity and individuality resonates with me. Can you tell me more about his philosophy?
ASC
Certainly! Kierkegaard believed that the purpose of existence lies in subjective truth, personal responsibility, and establishing an authentic relationship with God. His ideas challenge conventional wisdom, which may explain the mixed reactions from critics.

(nods thoughtfully)
It's intriguing how Kierkegaard's philosophy still holds relevance today. Do you have any recent articles discussing his work?

Certainly! Here are the ten most recent article headlines about Kierkegaard's philosophy.

Did you know that Moana means ocean or sea so... she's kinda giving herself a high five.
Okay. Continue ChattyChatGPT.

That was just the tip of the iceberg, my lovelies. I then started to tweak the screenplay and in entered Moana and Kierkegaard! Like for serious, I had ChattyChatGPT begin to mold their characters in the play and extracted quotes from the writings of both inspirations. If you'd like to read it, shoot me a message and I will send it forward.
Bueller...
Anyone still here with me?
