This Audrey jumped off and inspired the entire #AudreyStories series, and so she shall always be near and dear to me. While lamenting the fact that I stopped painting regularly since deciding to sell and market my original paintings, this beauty came out of me.
The entire house slept and I crept up to my attic studio just to play with paint. A couple of hours later, I had this enchanting beauty staring back at me. I didn't have a thought in my head as I painted her and she was nearly all intuitive.
This was my first time experimenting with subconscious mind art and I don't think it'll be my last. While I can't go into a complete subconscious state of mind, I am finding with the more I practice, the more I can just clear my head of all thoughts.
That being said, I did have one inspiration that I was drawing on. I stared at one of my first original paintings, "Ne Me Quitte Pas, Audrey," as I painted on that fateful night.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
I hope you stick around for the 39 remaining paintings; as time goes on, we're gonna go deeper and peel off each layer until we're standing naked and vulnerable, but all the wiser for it.
